As a horse owner you hope that you never need someone like Toni and Bankend Rescue. Bad things happen to other people and their horses but never to you.
Unfortunately the time came when I did need help and owe everything to Toni and Bankend.
Without them my beautiful boy would be in horse heaven now and not hanging out with his equine and donkey friends being lavished with love.
The work that is done at Bankend is phenomenal, heart warming - quite frankly beyond words.
The love for the horses in their care is almost tangible and I know that from the day he went to Bankend, however many years my boy has left in this world every single day of them will have been because of Toni.

I first spoke to Toni late spring 2009.I had found Bank End online & had emailed in desperation, looking for a safe, permanent sanctuary for our beloved pony. Toni's support was immediate & unswerving & our prayers were answered as she was able to offer our boy a place at Bank End. Since then it has been a pleasure to get to know Toni and about the amazing work she and her colleagues undertake so tirelessly. My gratitude is immense and I am indebted to her forever. Our wonderful pony is safe with the Bank End herd and my daughter and I hope to make many visits to see him doing well in the years to come. Thank you Bank End Equine Rescue, for your help so desperately needed.
